Video transcript
Hi my name is Julie Yassa, I'm a Senior Loan officer at New American Funding. So I started off as a receptionist, back in March of 2015. I did that for about 9 months and I was inspired by the individuals that work in this industry and it made me wanna grow within the field.
I was really grateful to get the opportunity to move into a CSR position. Getting on the phones every day talking to the clients and talking to different people in general you're going to get different reactions. You're going to get the really nice people that are looking for your help and you're going to get people that don't want your help. Going through those objections and that struggle really helps you as a loan officer because you're already prepared to answer any of those objections without a doubt in your mind about how to overcome them.
If you don't know the answers to questions, ask. Sometimes the fear of the unknown is what trips us up but don't be scared because the doors and the opportunities that are waiting for you are so much greater than the fears that you have. My career started with New American and I'll forever be grateful for New American Funding. There are so many different tools that New American Funding offers you.
Don't give up! Keep pushing and keep working hard to achieve that goal.
